Our good friends over at Spy Optic have put together a sweet contest where you can win a nice little set up, just like the one Darrell Mathes rolls with. Goggles, Sunglasses, an iKick, a $250 gift certificate to WESC, and of course, of pair of Vans Matlock Snowboard Boots. Just head over to www.spyoptic.com and enter to win. There are a few other cool contests going on at Spy right now as well, including a free three-day cat trip! Do yourself a favor and take a chance... you never know.

Snowboarding's favorite gypsy and style successor to the patented Jamie Lynn method stopped by the Snowboarder Magazine office last week to answer some puzzling questions about things like handplants off cliffs, handlebar mustaches and grammatically prejudiced parents. Check out their Guestbook and get the full story.

Vans Team Rider Hana Beaman is part of the Cilla Team, shown here on their brand new website www.cilla.ca. Cilla is a first layer company out of Canada started by pro rider Priscilla Levac in 2007, and along with Hana, features fellow female powerhouses such as Marie France Roy, Taylor Godber and Alexis Waite. Cilla focuses on an environmental approach, using sustainable fabrics such as Biomass (made from crab and shrimp shells?!?), bamboo and hemp, while maintaining a stylish and functional design. Look for Hana rockin' the new Cilla products on and off the hill this winter.

Holy Lens Flare! The cover shots just keep rolling in for our main man Andreas Wiig, this time landing on the new issue of OnBoard European Magazine. Once again, Andreas' Norwegian counterpart Frode Sandbech supplied the photography while Andreas supplied a style-ly sunset handplant. Looks like all he has to do is ride at dusk and Andreas is pretty much guaranteed a cover... Nice job fellas!
