The Vans UltraRange Shoe
The Vans UltraRange line can go off-road but is light enough for everyday life. With a low-profile design, solid grip, and more cushioning than our classic models, it’s the perfect go-anywhere shoe. Whether you’re running errands, hanging out at home, or taking a detour on a local trail, the UltraRange has your back. It’s all about extra comfort and versatility, ready to keep you moving wherever your day takes you... and then takes you later.
Traction: Lugged outsoles boost traction, grip, durability, and flexibility, covering all the bases for your next adventure.
Cushioning: Reimagined UltraCush™ EVA foam midsole allows for a comfier fit and a more supportive foot contour.
Fit: Improved fit in UltraRange shoes means you can do more, longer. Breathable uppers ensure your feet stay dry and comfortable, while a heel lock design locks your foot into place for all day comfort.
Sustainability: Our rubber is FSC-certified and sourced from responsibly managed forests, protecting biodiversity. Look for the Checkerboard Globe logo to find products made with at least 30% recycled and/or renewable materials.
Each style from the UltraRange collection offers unique features. Find the shoe that caters to your specific preferences.
UltraRange 2.0: Our latest design for those who are Always Moving, with a grippy outsole, heel lock to keep your foot in place, and an anatomically sound toe box for your forefoot to stay comfortable all day.

What’s new with the UltraRange 2.0?
The UltraRange 2.0 takes the popularity and versatility of the original UltraRange EXO and updates it with improved comfort, support, durability, and traction. A heel lock design and UltraCush™ Lite midsole keep your foot planted, while an improved toe box ensures true-to-size fit and all-day comfort for those who are Always Moving.
What happened to the EXO?
The EXO has been phased out of the UltraRange collection, allowing space for its newer, improved UltraRange 2.0 to shine in our UltraRange lineup. If you don't like change or you’re craving the original version (pre-upgrades) that inspired the UltraRange 2.0, the EXO is still available in Customs. Customize your own EXO Shoe using our Customs page.
