In the late ‘70s, skateboarding was becoming ever-more-vertical. Not only were skaters going faster and higher, they were doing it all on bigger ramps, deeper pools and gnarlier obstacles. So, in 1979 we worked with the most progressive skaters of the day to design the Sk8-Hi. A true original, the extra protection and support of the durable hi-top design enabled skaters to (literally) take their craft to the next level.
